The HARPTA process can sometimes be confusing, so I created this flowchart to make it a little easier for home sellers to understand it a little better.
Please note that unless the home seller is current on all of their Hawaii tax filings and tax payments, the Department of Tax will not issue HARPTA waiver or an early refund.
